  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can you explain the meaning of the imagery?
They are superhero-style figures that I drew for some of my children, in the vein of Pilgrim's Progress meets Star Wars. Their armor is derived from Ephesians 6 and other Scriptures.

"Ransom Rules!" is explained at the link in my signature.

Thanks, that helped clarify!

Kinda I take it too cons a lot to promote it I have thousands printed I will hopefully get the rules posted eventually on the fb page it's like a combination of UFS and maybe a bit of Pokemon in terms of card game wise. I draw th ed m traditionally and use a paint program for color and format.

That is great. I have been doing a lot of marker lines and then computer for the color as well.

This was done with a blue dollar tree (four for a dollar) bristle brush pen (Jot brand). They are super cheap in quality, but actually kind of fun. They have a plastic bristle brush that can do thin or thick lines.

Now I am tempted to try a higher quality real brush pen such as the Pentel. Might try the Arteza first just for price sake.

Here it is with some quick digital color, keeping it loose.

The lines for this were done on a dry erase board. I actually enjoyed working on that surface as it is smooth and quick, and allows for easy erasing if needed. It saves paper as well.

Lol, you got the skin color perfect.

Thanks. The spray tan holes help put it in perspective. I figure if he is willing to wear that kind of orange spray tan, imagine how pasty and objectionable he would look without it!
