The idea of this thread is that you share weird music that you love and comment on stuff others have posted (unlike the other music sharing threads where there's no discussion).

I'll go first:
It reminds me of sounds that bands like Pink Floyd or the Beach Boys would feature on their records. Mechanical type noises, random notes from different types of instruments. Nothing really I'd call real music. But it probably is. OK. My turn. This is one I made using a Scarface instrumental and sound recorder. The quality isn't that great. So I'll post the lyrics to it too. It's a recording I made after being inspired by the lives of homeless people.

Chirbit [] Street Saints Rap

Street saints staying downtown but yet they'll get a crown
Covered with dirt and p*** but still smiling
And they're striving for a place we're all going
They may not live in houses but in the heart they call Heaven their home
In the gutter; it's the only place these people learn to kneel and keep it real
While others focus on the dollar bill;
Feel - These outsiders
Don't disrespect their space
Look into their eyes as they tell you of the struggle of their race
They're surving under hard conditions but arriving
(In God's presence)
Now you can run but can't hide from it
So step outside
If you think its crazy making music for these streets
Think of God who loves these forgotten whose hearts still beat

This is for those street saints

So to these lost will you make it out of your neighborhood
And serve a purpose ?
Or does this rap make you nervous?
This is your service:
For the One who died on the cross
And came out of the grave
To bring a whole world back!
He's mighty to save
He remained in the streets
And gained fame
His mission:
To know our pain and take aim
His position:
To let the opposition know the Life
That delivered lives by doing what's right
By dying but now sitting on the throne doing the Father's business
Receiving people
So let this thought sink in deeper
And be a reaper
But no man will bear a harvest
No matter how much they think this message is alarming

Back to my tenor..
Enter:
The gutters; for you can see
What do I mean when I say that I love them
after God first loved me
Learn to be:
A life altering change
in the lives of the poor and strange

This is for those street saints

By faith can you imagine these same unwanted wanderers
Making their way to the throne of God before squanderers
Gold roads replacing what was their last abode
For eternity they'll sing the praises of His everlasting love
These sold out soldiers will take a bullet
You see they love like the One who gave them courage to endure it
Look at these people who can't be stopped
They patiently take their lot knowing more's in stock
Here they have no lasting place
Their hope is stored up for His mercy and His grace
True to the Lord, Christ is their Life
They see that eternal home, the mansions with the light
They've been tested and they're yearning
Because they've been promised the inheritance of an overcomer
Worshiping in the middle of hail and rain
In this they depend on the One who came
Their used to seeing angels in their sight
But she'll be there when it's time for him to die
She'll take him up to be with God up there
And no longer will he be confined to a wheelchair

I'll go first:
Sounds like a porcupine fighting an ostrich in a Pier 1 store.

Listened to your song - it's quite interesting, although I thought the rapping could have been a bit more forceful and I would personally have made the song shorter. Good work though :)

More forceful. Yes, I've been told that too. But I was expecting you to rail it and throw me under the bus. Wasn't what this thread was intended for? Here, I'll give you one more chance. This is the first rap I ever made. Now bash me.

OK, but when does the song start? :p

I think this thread needs some ultra hip Partridge Family-type music from Afghanistan's communist period, so here's Red Flower Band (Gol-E-Sorkh) performing what was surely a hit with all the cool Kabul kids back in 1986:

Cool music, but that has to be the worst quality music video I've seen haha
Particularly the woman looks like she'd rather be doing anything else!
