The best viewing is about 4 a.m. in the morning, if it were not so cold, I would be laying on a country road at that time, it's just too cold.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's not only been too cold here, but too overcast, seems it is either snowing, or clear during the day and cloudy at night. Today the sun i out after getting 7 inches yesterday and now tonight we are in for more.
Every year it seems when the meteor showers come its bad weather here. I do remember years ago about 1am going up to the cornfield and laying on top of my convertible with a thermos of coffee and a clear night sky, and the show was rather amazing.
But it sure was a very bitter cold night when Haley's came by, I got to see that at the observatory which was not heated. I thought I had frostbite waiting in the cold for my turn at the telescope. I got a certificate for all my trouble, but it was a once in a lifetime thing, don't think I'll make it to 100.

So has anyone heard anymore about the comet? Do you think it caused all that snow to fall on Jerusalem?

Very correct.
That picture was his forcast from a month ago, not an actual picture taken on Dec 20. The very blog post indicates it was :
UPDATE: 20th NOVEMBER 2013
And ends with the words
With picture captions stating things like
"Dec 13th: ISON **could** be a striking sight in the western sky after sunset now, well have to wait and see, but here is where to look for it, whatever it does "
I sense someone is being quite disingenuous in here.
