It strikes me as sad that you have drifted so far into the darkness of unbelief that you would evaluate a person's description of the pathway into Light as "an act."

I'm sorry, but he talks, and gestures just like William Shatner. I bet he's a Trekkie or Trekker or whatever.

I have no doubt he is passionate, but why is passion required in this instance? Especially the excessive, over-the-top variety?

Ever since that conversation, I've developed a fascination with Star Trek. I've started watching. It's not great television, but it's fun enough.
