Hi, I thought it would be good to have a thread where we can just talk about anything we want to - depression, our lives in general, anything, even if its not related to depression. Just a place to gather together and relax, enjoy each other's company.

Well, welcome to Friday night, SB! It's only 2:46 in the afternoon here. Looking forward to the weekend though. I've got a trivia game to go to tomorrow night, and we're going to see Stomp! on Sunday.

Trivia night sounds fun. Coworkers having small happy hour after work. Later going to see Grace and Vessels, a healing ministry. See some people get healed and a free guitar lesson

Where do you live? SA's a fantastic place to live.

England, I love it but I can't afford to live in my own country anymore
And SA always looks so beautiful (though they(media) portray it as a bit dangerous)

I'm trying to oganise to spend a couple of months in SA working for a charity...think it might have fallen through tho as I haven't heard anything from my contact for a while

Yep, Stomp! is the thingy at the theatre...I'll let you know how it turns out.

I'd love to visit SA as well! And England, Germany, Norway, New Zealand... ... ...

Living in SA is pretty similar to living in any other metropolitan city. We don't live in grass huts and have lions walking around outside.

Crime is a problem but as long as you're careful, you can go out and enjoy the city. I live on the coast so we have a beach plus a beautiful mountain range just a few hours inland.
We have the same things any other city would have I guess plus a really lovely aquarium with lots of shops and restaurants. At one of the restaurants you can eat while looking at the sharks swimming around in their tank. Its got a Waterworld attached to it too (water slides and rides etc.)
We have a couple of five star hotels, the Hilton Hotel being one of them. We have really good theatre productions. We had Sound of Music during Christmas 2005 and My Fair Lady last Christmas.

The A1 GP will be here next weekend! Can't wait!!!

Hi, how is everybody doing today?

Went to the doctor today and he's put me on Espiride, I have to go back in two weeks so I'll see if it helps.
This is my first journey into prescription drugs, I tried a natural anti-depressant which has been working but lately I've had a few bad days and I'd like to be under the care of a doctor.

Going to learn DreamWeaver this weekend.

Anybody doing anything exciting?
