I'm not here to complain .... BUT .... I recently joined these forums (I'm 30) and when I read the 30's Area it sounds like a bunch of old folks!!!

Your 30's can be the very best years of your life .... WOW mine are!!!

Lets talk about how great things are, and lets list all the POSITIVE things about being 30:

lol, you jsut turned 30 so your just starting your 30's. I have to say I'm more content with my life now as in not trying to run a rat race so to speak.

I feel like I've just walked into a Old Folks home here.

The sign on the door said "Terrific Thirties", but all I see is simple little games and things like that.

Doesn't anyone have any fun in their real lives they would like to share????? All the other forums seems to revolve around sex, but we should know that sex in your 30 and 40's is the best!!!!

I've gots lots to share, but I feel like its going to be a waste of time here!

It's kinda hard to be all energetic when you sitting on your bed in your 30's loaded up on pain killers and muscle relaxers because of things I did in my 20's!

I'm really having a hard time with this birthday. I find myself getting more depressed about it as I inch towards it. I'm really gonna miss my 20's and I don't want to get old. Help me with this please, someone.

Unpardoned1: I have no easy answers, but I can tell you this...now that you are entering you're third decade of life, you'll be able to give so much advice to "younguns" in their teens and 20's.

Besides, if you stay 20-something forever how would you ever grow-up?

I miss my 20-somethng body, but not all the stupid mistakes I made in my 20's--please!

I wouldn't want to be 20-something again for anything!

Being in our thirties means to look back at our carefree kidhoods during the late '70s and '80s, and some of the neat things we did. Although there were a lot of things changed, we need to remember that there are a lot of things that really haven't.

I didn't really like turning 30, but the good thing is you only do that once? lol I actually look back & am surprised I lived this long? I finally settled down enough to enjoy each day & joking with friends & family.

This is the 1st thread that really sounds interesting to me in this forum. I have less than 3 months to be in it--as I turn 40 in November. I still consider myself young. I still like to explore & go to new places & meet new people. I'm still looking for a special woman with whom to share my life. I try to be patient with God on that one. I'm defnitely not ready for my rocking chair yet!!!

Amen!! I thought I was the only one thinking the same way. I am 32(duh), but I feel like I didn't really come full circle in my life until I hit 30, and I am getting better, I have survived the Stupidity of my youth, taken my lumps like a Man, and have clearly defined goals about what I want out of life.

What are some topics that can spice it up safely in a CHristian environment? The singles section seems to stay alive, but there's quite a bit of arguements every now and then. I wonder if that keeps things alive?

LOL, I felt old when I was 18. I think I was in my prime when I was 15.

I changed priorities from trying to find work to just exercising all day long until I can't move I'm a dedicated person so if the world isn't willing to give me a chance to do what I went to a big university for, I'm not going to stop showing my dedication. I think by 35 that I want to go into body building if no one hires me by then.
