But in the long run, only God can bring me the joy I seek. I am learning that truth, minute by minute, day by day
I have finally learned this one!
After twenty years of half-hearted Christianity, trying to find happiness in things and people, God has refocussed me.
And I can honestly say now that He is my joy, whatever the circumstances. And I no longer look anywhere else for happiness.
Because really, there is nothing else!
And I praise him so much, because this is something I can't do myself, but He has done it for me, and He draws me back if I start to look to other things. His grace is sufficient!
Hi everyone!
I will be hit and miss on CF for the next couple of months and was wondering if anyone would like to take over posting a topic on Tuesdays? Please PM me if you would. Thank you for considering it!

I am so sorry I haven't posted here in a while.
Things have become so hectic around here.
The boys don't let me stay on the computer as much during the summer
I am taping a reminder on the computer!!!
I miss you already...
Reflections:
How can you tell if your thoughts are judgmental or helpful?
What are some ways to guard our hearts and minds from being judgmental?
Identify a time when you were wrongly judged by someone else.
Read Matthew 7:3-5 below. How does taking the plank out of our eyes help us see clearly?
Matthew 7:3-5, Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. (NIV)
