  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Nope, wouldn't (and didn't) bother me. Besides, by the time you graduate most people there are younger than you anyway. No sense in changing your mind over that.

Now 10-20 years I could understand some anxiety.

Would you be ok with going to a school where you knew that everyone was 2 to 5 years younger than you? Would this deter you?
Yes. I don't enjoy being older than people, but at the same time it's not like it matters, I just go to class then go home.

I'm going to transfer to a college when I am 22 years old. The majority of the students go to that college are there straight from high school. So 17,18 year olds will be starting the same time as me. But I will be transferring as a junior so kids that started straight from high school, and are juniors at the same time as me will be about 20....
At first it bugged me that I'm two years behind many of the students. But that no longer really bugs me. I am excited to go.

I also appreciate the fact that I don't have to live in the dorms like all freshmen are forced to do... simply because I will be a junior. :) It would probably make me feel younger to live in the dorms... I don't know.... I visited the school and freshmen who are two years younger than me asked me if I was a senior in highschool, so they thought I was a junior in highschool... they were shocked to learn that I am in my third year of college already.

I think I will fit in fine since people think I am younger than I am.... ;)
