  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I would agree that Amazon.com is good, but here is a place you can search for books at all the different online retailers, including half.com, e-campus.com, amazon.com, ebay.com, barnesandnoble.com, etc.:

http://www.bookfinder.com/ -- I would suggest you type in the ISBN # and go from there...that is best!

Also, to save money on books, try to get to your bookstore before classes start. That way you can search by ISBN number. I went to my college last week and bought all my books but 1 for $87.53, where I would have paid for over $200.00 at the bookstore. That is quite a savings!

And about book re-sell or book buy-back options, they really dont net you much. Your best is to make flyers or e-mail people with in your major's department, or the whole campus and say you have them. Go about 50% of the bookstore, and you will be fine. Great success there.
