  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I thought that it was an interesting theme that Cruise's character vehemently believed that the universe was chaos and their lives had no special significance/meaning. Yet Fox's character had happened to be given exactly what was necessary to prevent the lawyer's death. So there was purpose, but Cruise's character couldn't see it.

Yeah, great movie. The part with the wolves was DEEEP. The cinematography was excellent. I wonder how many bodies fit in my trunk...

Sorry, I don't remember that part. There were wolves on the road or something? And can you explain what you took from that- I'm really curious! Thanks!

Yea, about midway though the movie, around the time when Cruise shoots up the club, Jamie's driving by and they see a couple wolves roaming the deserted streets with some nice music playing in the background. Quite nice.

I thought it was a good movie. A little slow though. And I was kinda hoping for a biggre ending than that, though I did think it was fitting with what Cruise said at the begining on the movie.

Though good thing it wasn't set in New York, or he'ld have been there till he was a skeleton. :p
