Colecovision problem

My wife picked up a used Colecovision at a rummage sale for $5.

It works, but the picture only comes in black and white when it should be color. Any retro gamers in here who have any idea? Does it just not like new fangled TVs?

Could be a signal leak or weak signal, or perhaps it isn't broadcasting at the right frequency because of some slight innacuracy or crossed wire. My Genesis comes in Black and white on one TV, for some reason.

I think they have a switch for black and white or color ??? i cant remeber?
