Coldplay are one of the best bands I've ever heard. I think they'll make a lot of great albums. I especially like their more upbeat songs, like "Don't Panic" and "Speed of Sound". All their songs are good though.

Sorry you're only getting into them now. Their older stuff is excellent as well. Don't deprive yourself; get Parachutes and Rush of Blood to the Head as soon as you can...

I don't like them. The lead singer has a boring old college professor type sound. Just my opinion. Plus there new song (forgot the name of it) is one of the most boring songs I have ever head. No offense but thats how iI feel.

X&Y is really good. It's a toss-up between that and Rush of Blood though. Both are really solid albums.

i also have friend who is pretty sure chris martin used to be a band with graham kendrick aka shine jesus shine.
doubt if hes still of the flock but there is allways something reather spiritual about their music.
my fav is yellow.

I already have them I got those two discs soon after I got X&Y!

They're the best living band... U2's not living anymore really. Admit it. They're legends.

But Coldplay, that's a different deal.

I remember hearing The Scientist at a friend's house, and I made him play it several times over and over. Then I made him put it in the rotation on his computer so that it would play every third song.

The Scientist was such a great song... if you don't have Rush of Blood, it's a fantastic album. Check out Parachutes as well, some great stuff there.

And see my OxFam ad? I was advocating them with some friends before Coldplay did! But I've really gotten into it lately, and I seriously think that they've got the chance to go all the way.

i love coldplay so much. they're like a musical drug... they have an amazing effect on me, but when the album's finished, everything just rushes back down to earth... and i'm left craving more.

Hi there, i love coldplay they are one of my favourite bands, sometimes i find there music a little depressing but i think that could also be because i get depressed easy lol but hey i do love them to bits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually i think i might listen to them now....

Yes they are by far the greatest UK band over here at the moment. Every song on their albums is great. Yes there is something amazingly spiritual within each of their albums. They're gonna last a long time

I saw Coldplay last night on that MTV garbage, since my friends were watching it; and I thought they sounded pretty decent. Then again, I had just listened to some really bad music right before it.

My favorite band by far. I've listened to them for about three years before they were really popular in America.

i think their music is very bland and unoffensive. they're like the bends era radiohead but without any talent.
