Have to post - this cd is wonderful.
Fix you is probably tyeh best track I have heard in a long long time.
Great set too from Coldplay at Glastonury & at Live8.
Superb!

well i'm afraid i'll have to disagree with you...and many people. while i do like the new album on the whole, i could not stand fix you from the first time i heard it and many hearing later it has not grown on me. i very much enjoyed watching coldplay on glastonbury and live 8 though.

I wasn't that impressed with the CD, except of course for Speed of Sound which was manufactured so everyone would like it. The secret song was good, though.

I'm curious as to why they don't have any strong individual tracks on the cd. I didn't find anything that compares to "Yellow", "The Scientist", or "Clocks".

I've heard a few tracks so far and liked them - Reviews here in the Uk have been average (not that reviews matter so much)

I agree with Blackwasp; it doesn't have any obvious standout tracks to me, though it flows pretty well (maybe even too well).

I also had no idea that "'Til Kingdom Come" was a hidden track; I hardly ever listen to music if not on a computer anymore

It was worth the delay. The only problem is that for colplay its a little softer if you ask me. -which isn't neccessarly a bad thing but all the things are like that

I heard some of their new tracks on some show they were on promoting their new album. From what I head, they sound as though they are doing great

Fix U is great song and Coldplay are a great band however i feel that they are loosing their individuality and originality that made them great in the forst place. is it me r does the intro of speed of sound, sound very similar to Clocks????

I think its good, a step in a different direction from their last album.
Overall I like it, I just wish some of the songs were a bit more upbeat. However I am digging their hippie-psych-vibe.

Coldplay is awesome! I don't have their new cd yet, but I've heard most of their songs off the album anyway. I dig it as well!

This album is taking quite a few plays for me to 'get it' I never particularly liked speed of sound.. I think fix u is almost 'the scientist' but doesn't quite make it... Still a wonderful track though! I also like swallowed in the sea and twisted logic, there are some nuggets there if u take the time... the tracks x&y and what if are pretty good too...
