  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Coheed and Cambria.

Personally, I find their music incredible. I think they are one of the most talented bands out there today. The music on the latest album is incredible. Each artists shines on his instrument. Not to mention, their lives shows are UNFORGETTABLE. They are my favorite band of all time.

Solid band with solid albums. I do think that they kinda spun their wheels a bit with the new records. But for the mainstream, they are one of the best bands to come round on radio...but they are not even close to being the 'next Led Zep'. No one will be able to do that anymore.
I agree with ya there, but they are the closest thing we're ever gonna get to "the next Led Zeppelin" in our generation of music. I think they grew musically with this album but it's in no way as good as the third album (Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV: Volume 1, From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness) was. I got to go see them live in February and they put on an amazing show! They closed their set with Welcome Home. I wish they would have done the Final Cut though. :sigh: oh well. Maybe next time.
