Codeine addiction - now withdrawing

Hi guys... I am three days clean. My addiction started in 1994.

I have awful stomach cramps and dihorrea right now, praying all the time, I really want to get clean for the long term.

Please pray for me, I want a life completely free from drugs.

Will be praying. I am proud of you, I know this is tough. I was addicted to alcohol and pills for about 8 years. I recently got clean from all of it about 6 months ago. Just keep praying for God to deliver you from the addiction.

Three days is great, keep on going! Trust in God. Give it all to Him.

Hi guys...I'm still here...feeling pretty rough, weak, sweaty, upset stomach and irritable.

However, I am on day four now, and this will pass, I know. This is the worst I have felt so far.

It is the first time I have been clean for over 10 years...

I am so lucky to be part of a wonderful community such as CF.

I am on day five now and feeling marginally better, although the cravings are strong...I have no pills available anyway so that's that problem solved (HeeHee!)

I have been addicted to amphetamine and nicotine in the past, if I can get through that, with God's help, I can do this...

What kind of real world support do you have? Going to any 12-step groups? I got a WHOLE lot of good out of NA.

I do both NA and AA, and get a lot of support online too. I am two weeks clean now, thank you guys for all your loving support, prayers and kindness...
