Cluster Headaches

So, my doctor said that I have cluster headaches. I really dislike them. lol Does anyone else get these? What do you do to help the pain during your episodes? I normally have to take around 4 ibuprofen. The worse part about them is that I get auras before the onset of the headache. So i'm more then 50 percent blind for about 30 mins when I get these headaches, which are totally random btw.

does caffeine help? migraines are caused by vasodilation..sometimes caffeine will constrict the blood vessels to offer relief. i have a body wide problem with vasodilation, although caffeine can be dangerous in high doses, so can medications..so maybe try a little of each. (a piece of chocolate or cup of tea or coffee should tell you whether this works for you. however, with your degree of vision loss, i'd see a neurologist to make sure there's not a more serious source for your problem) best of wishes

I would suggets the OP arranges to see a headache specilaist who can tell the differance between migraine and other primary headache disorders. You have been had me dear if you think CH is bought under control by Iburofen!
