Let us begin with faith. This is about God. It is He who is true and faithful. The only way that the Bible can be of use to us is if we have faith in what it is, not in what we want it to be. Apart from the fact that Moses was not a witness to the Creator nor the Fall he placed a number of clues in the very first chater of Genesis that seem to be hints that we should not treat the book as being necessarily historically accurate. Moses did not write to answer the questions we are raising but to convince the Hebrews that the God who was about to deliver them was the Creator. If I go on I may take this thread off topic.BigNorsk said:I don't understand why you are so hostile. People here are trying to figure out what happened and why on the basis of believing that the Bible, including the Genesis account are true. You seem to start from the idea that it is false and should be rejected as ridiculous.
Am I correct? Would you please explain why you think they felt shame since you seem to know everyone else is so wrong? Thank you in advance.
