  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I love, love, love the under-the-belly style jeans (this pregnancy, from Gap). I am never comfortable during pregnancy with much On my belly, so using under-the-belly underwear and jeans is so much more comfortable to me.

I read about how you can wear your regular jeans and use a rubber band instead of buttoning the top button, and a variety of other suggestions. That kind of thing never worked for me... I guess my hips start spreading immediately and my regular jeans do Not fit within a short time anyway.

This pregnancy I ran across the Belly Band, which was Really helpful though! Here's the manufacturer's website: http://www.ingridandisabel.com/ And this is where I got mine from: http://www.onehotmama.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=38 This was one thing that I actually bought and used (and will use again post partum, I'm sure).

I too prefer things under my belly, as the tightness around the belly makes my bloating and m/s worse!

I found the best pants at Target with my first, they are black and the elastic waist meets in a V under the belly. I'm actually in them now. They are a little baggy, but they feel much better than my yoga pants that go up over the belly!

Not even 2 months along and in maternity pants!!

I went looking for these pants again, but they don't have them anymore. I'm so glad that I kept them!!

I was in maternity pants at about 2 months too!!!

I have found the best pants to be from Target, I needed black work pants and they are the most comfortable things ever!!! I also got jeans from there too.
I like them to sit under my belly too.

What i hate is that alot of the mat style tops have sleeves. I have only found a couple that don't and they have been quite expensive.

I am loving dresses at the moment. They are the most comfortable thing in the world. But i need to get a few casual ones, i only have more dressy and formal ones.

I remember when I was nearing the end of my last pregnancy in the middle of summer. I went looking for dresses. Being the beached whale that I was, the only maternity ones that I could find were ones with flowers on them!! What is with maternity dresses with flowers....

Fortunately by the time I am whale sized this time around it will be winter!

I know!!! Flowers and mat dresses... go figure!
The good thing is there are a few places you can get some really nice stuff (it can be quite expensive) that is still really fashionable.
Thankfully I won't be HUGE during summer... ugh that would be horrible...
I just liked the feeling of not having anything on my belly in a dress... no pants or skirt... and a top... i felt really good. And girly!

Yeah it did give me a little more freedom. I had to buy a dress and a practically lived in it, nothing else fit and it was too hot! :)

There are some really nice things at pumpkin patch. Maybe if I can catch the sales I might be able to pick some things up.

Big flowers and big bows. *shaking head* Who can understand why clothing manufacturers think that just because a woman is pregnant she suddenly wants to look like a baby?! bleck. I guess that's why I like Gap maternity~ it's more like regular styles.
