Cloning????

I had the strangest dream last night - it was about cloning. I didn't watch anything on TV about cloning so don't understand why I had this dream.

It was just a series of statements. These were the statements.

OK you created this THING.
You now have a THING - can you make it do whatever you want - good or evil.
You made it - now can you kill it.
It does not have a conscious.
It won't know right from wrong.
Will this be the next group of heartless people to do harm.

It just went on and on - I don't understand why I would have this dream - I don't think of it one way or the other because I don't know.

Outside of a dinner of Mexican food last night - I don't understand this.

Any comments.

I havent' read the book, but just had to share this. It' s believed that when the fallen angels before the flood went in human women and produced the nephilim, they also did the same thing with animals to try to destroy God's creation. Ancient rabbis have this interesting comment--it is said that right before the flood, men's faces became apelike and they said the same thing about the mixing, etc.

I read that they already have mixed human cells with an animal embryo=I'll have to look it up, but it was weird.

Yes, that's true - but I believe the embryos don't get much further than the eight cell mytosis stage. Can't say any more than that. It was just a snippet I caught on the 6o'clock news a couple of weeks ago and I thought 'how disgusting'!

This discussion interests me. I just watched Aeon Flux last night. I also had this thought, not endorsing cloning, but just a what-if ...

What if our government could clone humans to create an entire military so that we never have to recruit again, and so no actual real human lives get lost? Imagine the possibilities. We could have a military population who would never need replacing. If any get killed, recreate them with their DNA.
