  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have two internet friends who suffer from it, both women. One refuses help and fights with you when you try to help, the other, although I think is worse extends her hand in friendship and seeks help from those around her. I wished I knew more about this, but frankly I don't think even doctors have a good grasp on how to treat it, otherwse there wouldn't be so many who suffer from it.
Just passing, but if you really want to know more about this, go get $10 together and buy a copy of one of Maureen Salaman's books on amazon dot com: "foods that heal" or "all your health questions" or "nutrition the ..... answer" any of these three, or all of them, will instruct you far beyond your wildest imagination ! (and far beyond what is taught in schools).

on second thought, you don't really have to 'buy' one of the books -- most libraries have or can get any of them in short time. check one out. just be sure to actually open the pages and read parts of it. it's refreshing, shocking, helpful, hopeful, true, and proven by 1000's of those who've been totally(or even partially) helped.

Diet has a direct connection with depression.
I suggest remove all refined sugar from the diet .
Make sure vitamin b12 levels are healthy.
HAve a solid relationship with God,remembering to have an attitude of gratitude rather than 'me' .(this does take effort when depressed .I recognise this but making the effort pays off.

Here’s a really good site with a wealth of information of various mental health issues, the causes, cures, etc. Look at articles to find depression. Several good books are recommended regarding the diet connection. Many mental illnesses have physical causes that are often overlooked. Be diligent in your quest for answers. http://www.alternativementalhealth.com/\

May the Lord lead each of those suffering from depression or other illnesses to the correct cause and cure.
