I never got a high school ring, and don't regret it.

I got a HS ring. My senior year I was all full of school spirit.

Then I never wore it again. Awesomeeeeeeeeee.

I should start wearing my class ring again. It has a thing on it that says "rock". Cuz I like to rock on.

My parents bought me a high school class ring even though I told them I didn't want one. I never wore it, and I'm not even sure where it is now. I'm not really nostalgic for high school.

I never got a high school ring. My parents were asking me if I wanted a college ring as a graduation gift and part of me is like "hmm that's kind of cool" ... and I mean I would wear it if they got me one .... but.... they seem to cost a lot of money and I'm pretty sure I'd rather have money LOL

I didn't get a high school ring and if I ever graduate from college I probably won't get one either. I thought about getting one in high school but then decided I wouldn't wear it all that often so it wouldn't be worth it.

I think they seem kinda silly - like pep rallies and Homecoming.
They don't really do any of that class ring stuff here. They visit campus and they visited our high school, but I can't name anyone who actually bought one.

I've got mine from high school. Never wore it but once or twice, though. I generally don't like the feeling of wearing rings - the only exception I'll probably ever make to that being whenever I get married. But as a memento I don't mind having them.

I still remember when we were in the auditorium during the ring marketing assembly, and a couple of the guys I knew that were sitting a few rows back started going into the theme from Captain Planet.

I got one and still have it, actually. I'm not sure how many times I've worn it, but not too often would be my guess. It isn't my style - it was one of those female versions of the masculine style. I liked it though because I'd placed an inscription on it that means a lot to me these days. Not entirely sure I regret it. I suppose if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have purchased those senior packages though. THOSE were a huge waste. If I ever have children, I'm going to be the one taking their senior year pictures, too. Such a racket that is...

No. They always appeared an utter waste to me, and I was never filled with any manner of school pride.

I have a really simple one somewhere.....Its not very meaningful or symbolic. I only got it because my parents kinda pressured me into it. I always thought class rings were kinda stupid.

Yes, when I was graduating college. I bought the 10K gold version I think, so it wasn't too expensive. I actually sort of liked the silver-colored version and sort of wish I had gotten one of those instead - some kind of durable alloy. I don't wear mine anymore. I used to wear it occasionally. ...I remember my brother's ring (different school) was much bigger and more ornate. Their alumni payed for part of it, so it cost the same as mine. I used to say it looked like a "Lord of the Rings" ring due to it's enormous size and style.

A friend of mine was at my house after school that day telling me and my mom about his ring buying experience. He said there was an African (or Indian) student in front of him, trying to place an order. He was doing the accent really well. (Some country where the gold is a lot more plentiful, and cheaper.) He said the foreign student was asking for the 24 K version, and was completely shocked to hear the price. He had to change the order. He was expecting it to be a lot cheaper. Me and my mom were both in stiches, laughing at the story. I don't know whether my friend was telling the truth or had made the whole thing up, but it was so funny I didn't care.

I bought a high school ring. I wore it until i graduated from college. I got the cheapest one they had. I wasn't exactly swimming in school spirit, but I thought it was really pretty and delicate.

My dad still wears his college ring, but the concept never really appealed to me. I'm not nostalgic for high school or college, so I suppose my money was better spent on other things.

I never got one. I didn't want to spend the money on it. I don't regret it. I knew I wouldn't wear it, and I don't particularly connect much meaning with those years of my life. I do have a letterman jacket somewhere. Who knows where it is.
