What do you all think about a Claddagh? For those who might not know what it is. Here is a brief idea of what it is. It's a ring with hands holding a heart If the person is wearing it on the right hand with heart closer to your heart you are in relationship if its on the left hand with the heart away from your heart it means your engaged and if the heart is closer to your heart it means that you are married.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'd not heard of a chaddagh before.
Personally I'm not into symbolism that much so its not of much interest to me. But for those that love that stuff go for it.

Never heard of that term before, but a ring of any kind is a "symbol" so I see no harm if that's what your asking. Not sure exactly "why" you are asking though.

I was kind of bore the day I posted it. Since then I posted it the Young Singles section and got some really nice responce about it.
