Residents in Oakland, California, have moved to recall Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price as the city has become consumed by violent crime.

Save Alameda For Everyone (SAFE) started collecting signatures on Sunday in an effort to place Price, whose 2022 election was funded by George Soros, on the 2024 ballot after claiming that the district attorney’s soft-on-crime approach has caused crime in the Oakland area to explode. Price has come under fire in recent months due to the 35% increase of armed robberies in the city and the 382% increase in some types of burglary, which (among other crimes) have caused some businesses to flee Oakland.

Soros-Backed DA Carjacked At Gunpoint In Blue City​

New Orleans District Attorney Jason Williams was carjacked at gunpoint on Monday in his own city, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Williams was walking his 78-year-old mother to his car when two suspects approached the pair, pointed a gun at them and demanded the DA’s car, according to WVUE. The suspects then jumped into the car and drove off before abandoning the vehicle in an undisclosed location and carjacking a young woman in the area 30 minutes later, the NOPD confirmed.

Oakland mayor Thao (Democrat) seems to think there's a major crime problem. They've had record high violent crimes for 4 years.

So record highs for violent crime. Overall increase of crime in general by 25%. Car theft and armed robbery up 50%. Police are accurately calling this a "crisis".

It would probably help if the DA was interested in punishing criminals and not victims.
