  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For the past year I had been struggling with my smoking habit. I quit once for two week but unfortunatly started back. Then I heard the Lord say that If I care for my life I need to quit. A few days later I was watching D. James Kennedy and he was talking about smoking which was weird because i've never heard him preach on such a thing. It was sunday and that night I went on to church as I normally do and got prayed for. I felt a small ball shaped, hot but cold feeling, in the bottom of my chest. That was on January 7, of this year and I haven't had a cigarette one since. I am completly delivered from them and all the Glory goes to the Lord Jesus. Praise Him! He was my strength and I now have no more desire to smoke, and he's keeping the desire away. I thank Him everytime I realize how wonderful it is to be able to breath right again and not cough my lungs out when I wake up in the morning!

Praise the Lord!
