Hey guys I haven't been on in over a month. A lot has happened! I started going to a new church because my old one pretty much rejected me due to cliques, but honestly I still miss that one, not everyone was bad and the preaching was fine but if I go back ppl there are gonna get upset that I'm back while others will be happy to see me. And to be honest this new church as far as attitude is far better than the attitude at the old church but I miss my old one even though there was all kind of issues there. Sunday morning roles around and I really don't want to go anywhere I drag myself to church and get depressed. Is this a trial and or tribulation I need to get through or is it just me.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think it's normal to feel upset when you were rejected by the church. I went through a similar experience. I used to attend a church up until I was about 15 or 16 and I stopped going because people were very mean to me for no reason.
Recently, I rededicated my life to Christ so I have started trying other churches. In a way, I do miss my old church simply because I knew who everyone was and stuff like that. However, it's not healthy to be an environment where you don't feel comfortable fellowshipping with the people there. Pray that God will help you find a church where you feel comfortable and accepted.
