now what was the name of the anime with the angle brother in it was it christian?
IMHO, no. If you're talking about what I think you're talking about (and that's the only anime with "angel brothers" that's widely available), Trigun isn't a Christian anime, as I've argued in my above posts. The writers (neither Nightow nor Nishimura) didn't intend for it to be interpreted in that way, the content that is *misinterpreted* as Christian allegory by some well-meaning fans can be taken in a variety of other ways, and there's plenty of things to argue that the characters are not Christian allegories. ><
I'm sorry if it seems like I'm exploding at you, but I am becoming more than annoyed with these postings on various boards. I seriously wonder why people "need" this anime to *be* an allegory anyway-isn't it good enough just being a well-written anime and manga with a good plot, good characters, and some thoughtprovoking themes and messages? Why not?
As both a Christian and a fan of this anime, I see the "Christian allegories" as totally ignorant of either the anime and/or manga, which is simply annoying to me as an elitist fangirl

or much worse, ignorant of Christianity, which is something that makes me fear for the faith of persons who actually make these ridiculous claims.
Simply put, if you're a subscriber to the "the main character is a 'Christ figure'" allegory (one of the most common I've seen), then you are, in effect, denying the sinless nature of Jesus Christ and positing a fictional character who's a woman-chasing drunk *SPOILER:
and who *eventually* intentionally kills another character * as a "Christ figure archetype." Has anyone who does that allegory really thought through the consequences?
