CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I made a thread called Christian-ish (or something like that 
) anime because as far as I know there are no clearly Christian anime yet. Of the whole population in Japan only two percent are Christian which is probably the reason there aren't any anime in that genre yet. But I'm sure that in the future if Japan gets a big revival or something we will see Christian anime series made. There are so may cool series you could make of for example the old testament

There are actually a few that are Christian specific, written to a younger audance. "Superbook" and "Flying House" are the two I can think of.

Although I never heard of either of these it is good to know there is some anime with religious means. (Japanese voice acting... lol... nice)

The thing that bothered me is when the preacher guy said something like: I used to think there was a need for a savior, but then there was Vash the Stampede! That one made me cringed a bit.
Having moral values dose not make something Christian, since many religions contain morals, it is only confession though Christ that makes something Christian. I didn't quite get that out of Trigun, maybe I missed it. Morals and structures are more of a religious doctrine - where Christianity is a representation of a relationship with Christ/God himself. So to have an anime represent the Christian message I would think it must contain that element. This to me would be more of an anime to fit in:

I would consider the "Super Book" series pretty close-- it was made for the United States, but by Japanese artists in the style of anime.

It may have Christian themes (that is HIGHLY debateably), but the series as a whole is most definitely NOT Christian. I love Eva, but it is NOT Christian.

ok Animes are Japanese and most chritians are not Japanese so maby 1 or 2 Animes are chritian but iv never seen 1 and did you mean Animes or Mangas

chistian anme would be weird and lame if it were done by americans like teen titans or martin mystery. it might possibly work if it's donee like real anime FROM JAPAN!
