• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Hi beehoney

I have a little bit of a problem with this now; it used to be quite bad. No prescription creams or shampoos helped. Then I read somewhere that it can be connected to a vitamin B12 deficiency resulting either from a lack of the vitamin in the diet or lack of the enzyme to digest the vitamin.

I started on sublingual vitamin B12 tablets last year and it's amazing how much the sd has improved. I still have a small bit at the corner of my left eye, but the rest is gone!!!! It's important to get sublingual because when you put the tablet under your tongue, it dissolves and is absorbed through the capillaries under your tongue. That way, if you're lacking the stomach enzyme to process the vitamin, it's absorbed in your mouth and doesn't need the enzyme. Some people get shots to compensate for the lack of enzyme; I much prefer sublingual! :D

Hope this helps you as much as it has me :)

Let's have a support group for the eczema afflicted.
God bless you my dear. I can only imagne how you must be struggling. I pray God will give you a platform to relate to others suffering like you. May the Sonshine of your faith bring you unspeakable joy and happiness this day.
