  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This isn't a debate thread in which we argue back and forth over passages in scripture. Please refrain from that here. This is testimony time. Since SSSOOOO many Christians act as if it doesn't exist and the min u r saved ur salvation can never be in jeopardy (even though Rev. 2-3 states otherwise), Christ will always love us and never convict us, we can stumble seven times and NOT sin once... I would like to hear about those stories and revelations which speak to the opposite effect. The ones which uphold The Truth. I would like to hear people's testimonies and beliefs about Christ's judgment, rebukes, and discipline. How real is it? Did it occur AFTER u were saved? Should one resist it? How were u convicted in the Spirit? How did u change or improve as a Christian afterwards? I think we all need a little reminder of how it really works at this point. So testify.
