Christmas: Some thoughts

This recession is pointing out our sin. Maybe, just maybe we will be able to see our sin and fix it ,but we have to own it first, so my point is. If you chose to ignore it, it won't get fixed. History is repeats itself again for another Generation. This reminds me of the 19'30 depression?

It is easy to point out Christian hypocrisy because you notice it far more quickly than when we do the right things.

I think most of us are aware of our own hypocrisy and we regret it.

Christians want to follow their values better than they do, I am sure.

If you are aware of it then it obviously doesn't make you regret it enough to change.

And again, they don't feel this "want" strongly enough to do anything about it.

Seems to be pretty much a case of lip service. "I regret it, but it ain't no big deal, and I want to follow my values, but it ain't worth the trouble."

I can't even live up to my own standards, if I wanted to and if my memory is correct a hypocrite is Knowing the truth , but doesn't own up to their sin! We should judge our selves with sober judgment ,as Paul stated in Romans; however, that takes Godly wisdom. I see myself as evil ,but not worthless!
Most people state "I am not a bad person". Then the Question should be, what is evil?

Standards in patience, Not getting angry. In like teaching someone that doesn't truly get it and you begrudgingly do. When would rather be doing something for yourself. The more I own my decisions the more I see? Plainly being nice when what ever the situations is,as I am being crossed.In almost everything that I point out in the forums that you and so many others hate me pointing out in others. I have come to own it for myself
