I like most all Christion books and you all?

Weeeelll...Some are just "feel good fluff" and some are solid Rock truth.

The Lord is coming really soon, so I prefer to read the Rock books and avoid the light stuff.

Just finished one of the best ones I've ever read;
Dinner with A Perfect Stranger
by David Gregory.

I put up posts about it in STR and the Lutheran forums, take a look.

This book is outstanding.

Like them? Oh yeah! I've been studying them for years, been to their church in NC, collected books about them, toured their diorama, have a T-shirt with their "Trail of Faith" map on it... oui I like them!

I think maybe a thread about them should be opened somewhere....like under Church History...

Do you think that the Vaudois have often been forgotten in Church History books. Very little is mentioned of them in Church History accounts....

Yep...In Valdese, NC. The Vaudois (or Waldensians) are mostly absorbed into the Presbyterian and Methodist denominations in N. America, being a bit more distinct in S.America and Europe, but far from the original herosim of her glory days.

I've never felt unwelcome around Salvos.

Well....yes and no....I'm not in the Abbey of (what?) Bury St.Albans, nor am I that skinny...and I own no green jeans...but the rest is MI-5 regulation issue.....ummm...your royal duchessness...(better than a mere princess)

That is one heck of a good book.

Recommend 'Futurize' by our very own, Russell Rook (Director of ALOVE)
