Go ahead and ask the typical non believer what keeps them away...most of the time it is that they feel judged and condemned. This should not be. Maybe some circumstances justify a more forcable message, however; I believe gentleness and love prevail. Jesus was straight and to the point, but the message was delivered with gentleness and love for the most part. There were times when he was angry and stern, but mostly gentle and loving. It is Him that we are to emulate.
