In the Illuminati we are working toward the goal of engineering biological immortality.

Christians believe that they will rise from the dead. They are just contributing to the problem with this crazy theology.

Thanks for the laugh :) I LOL'D :)

Christ is everything!

We believe that through science we can engineer eternal life.
I have faith that technology can prolong human life, and I don't see that as being a bad thing or something to scoff at. I would like to know though, whether you think eternal life is the same as never-ending life?

Who would want to live in this world longer than they have to? Have you looked around?

Yes I have. The world is a beautiful place with countless wonders waiting to be discovered. This truly is the best time in history to be alive.

Why would anyone not want to live?

On the OP, I don't believe we will be immortal in 50 years time. I like Ray Kurzweil but I think he sometimes gets a little carried away with his predictions about the future.

That said, I do believe we can extend human life at the very least, up to 150 years. Maybe 200 but that would require a heavily modified body with artificial bones, muscles and organs. Our bodies just aren't meant to last that long.

Why would anyone not want to live?
I believe some people probably have a genuine reason to feel that way, but only because their circumstances are not ideal.

Look around at the middle-aged people in your neighborhood. Some already have liver disease, brain damage, broken limbs, addictions, bad alignment, behavioral disorders, cancer, hormonal imbalances, depression, suicidal thoughts... would they honestly want to live in that same body for another hundred years?

Then look at the billions of impoverished people. Would they be denied immortality, or would they be invited to continue their impoverished state indefinitely? Might they prefer a year's supply of Poppycock?

It would be nice if the money were spend on -- say, alleviating suffering or pulling some municipalities out of debt.

Living forever in the wilderness of Detroit... so illumined a solution.

I used to think immortality would solve my problems - but it would make them worse! I'd be cool wih being immortal if I never had mental illness, anxiety, panic, depression or anything bad. But life will never be like that.

Plus I view the modern illuminati as pretty money hungry, immoral and evil... so... not interested. Living forever in a world full of corruption and misery... how awful. Modern illuminati in the media is pretty obviously linked to satanism. The biggest pop stars and famous puppets are often flashing satanic imagery mixed in with illuminati and freemason symbols

Plus if we discovered how to live forever, wouldn't it only be available to the already-elite? Maybe it will end up like that Justin Timberlake movie where nobody ages past 25 but have an amount of time programmed into their arm which they have to buy food with and such... lol

Just as a point of note regarding this revived zombie thread.

The OP poster, Universal Soldier, has been banned for quite some time. They were a Troll and this thread was one of their Troll projects. Keeping it alive furthers their intent even when they are no longer here Trolling. Well, let's hope they haven't assumed a bypass sock so as to return and continue their ways. But still, this thread should die and stay dead.

SMH, why in the world do people lump freemasons and the illuminati? First off, the second one doesn't exist.

Who are these people that flash freemason signs? Care to show real evidence?

Biological immortality - sounds very interesting ... and you say that (some) scientists believe it will be attainable in around 20 - 40 years? That's also interesting.

Do you think that you will be around in time to be "made" biologically immortal in case it might take those scientists much longer? If not, would you want the scientists to bring you back to life so that you could be made immortal? Wouldn't others want that for loved ones that were deceased? Wouldn't resurrection then be a good thing?

Then you would all have to live on a planet with a never ending population increase - maybe colonize planets, live under the sea etc.. wow a population of 200 billion people by the year 3000 and still increasing? Would death be necessary to control a population that was getting out of control? Accidental or otherwise? Are we visualizing a perfect world? Wouldn't death be a reality or would there not be any wars, crimes, accidents etc?

Resurrection and immortality? Why wouldn't you want to believe in both?

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end." Ecclesiastes 3:11
