When one hears on the radio or tv the term National Security, what should one see in their mind?

The Christian sees in his/her mind all the people of the country.

What the politicians and big business executives see is only their portfolio.

In the United States we have virtually nothing to fear from any 'terrorists' or foreign military. By far the most damaging blows to our National Security has been from our politicians and big business executives. Not some small bands of Middle Eastern terrorists.

These politicians and big business executives act concerned about the thousands of Illegals crossing our southern border every day, but secretly rejoice at the prospect of this ever growing super-cheap labor force.

Since we have allowed big business to control the politicians, the politicians have turned a blind eye to the massive migration of nearly all of our manufacturing plants to..........Communist Red China.

For anyone who thinks that China has socially and ethically moved up to the standards of the average U.S. citizen....they have not! Their leaders (like North Korea) have an insatiable appetite for centralized power....not National Benevolence.

There is so much smoke being blown on tv (controlled by Big business) about how there is a 'terrorist' around every corner, that it is becoming an insult. They must think that they are distracting our attention away from them.

There is one (peaceful) devestating blow that we can deliver to these upper level Economic Terrorists (politicians and big business), that is a limited Nation-wide gasoline boycott. There is nothing else natural that would drive these greed demons to their knees than to not be able to have as much money coming in as they did. (Oil Industry-affects everything else) If everyone could place signs in places indicating that we know who the real 'terrorists' are and are going to participate in a National Security limited boycott against them....things will start to change then. This is the Christian thing to do.

They wouldn't feel it and the country would go on as usual. Until the people stand up in mass and say "Close the borders, now", it won't happen untill we have another attack that kills more people. We have spent billions on air line security, and, yet, we know that it is better than a 90% probability that the next attack will not come by a hijacked airliner. The people on board would overwhelm any attempted hijacker, since they now know they have nothing to lose.

Look for a WMD to come into the U.S. by cargo ship, or simply driven across the border. The smugglers control the border in Arizona and far west Texas. The police stay out of the way since they are so under-gunned.

I truly think the next attack will occur in Texas. It's close to the border, and it has large ports, both making it an easy target. Combine it with a President from Texas, coupled with a lack of will by the local police to take terrorism and illegals seriously, and you've got a group of easy targets.

...has become our most recent idol. Profess "in God we trust" as they may, it is in this thing called "national security" that our political masters would have us put our trust. Needed is a radical, Biblical critique that lays the claims of God's kingdom directly against those of our culture, in witness to the Creator.

Of course, this would also involve not only a critique of political culture, but also of our economic and lifestyle activities as well. If 80 million Christians resolved to buy what they need to live rather than what they want, the United States would be reduced to a third world economic power overnight.

Do not doubt for a moment that Christians responsible for leading the church in this direction would be summarily executed by the state. Also know that far from protecting the church, the Government of the United States of America would vent military force in the attemt to eliminate the Church.

John wrote the Revelation in large part to purge the Christian imagination of the assumptions of imperial Rome, in order to refurbish that imagination to see the world from God's perspective, and to live life on the supposition of God's kingdom. Wait until the church recovers this use of the Revelation.

And it will.

Blessings!

There is a word that is never heard in the news media anymore in regards to big business and politicians........it is called treason.

Do so few people even know the definition of this word?

Treason - is seen as such a harsh word. That's why they don't use it.

I like what the UK just did - boot'em out! Kick'em out of the country - but not the US we won't do that.
