Please I need a clarification, Is it good for Christian singles to go on dating websites?

I dont think there is anything wrong with it. I know a few people who meet their spouse from a dating site. Some Christians. A girl that is about my age meet her husband from EHarmony,(I think they married in 2007 or 2008, dated for about a year) her husband is a youth minister.

I don't really understand why some Christians have a problem with dating sites, TBH. There is nothing written on them in Scripture which means its an area where you are free to make up your own mind. In the end its just another medium to meet people like church, Bible studies, work, or even the grocery store.

The only difference is that on a dating site you're more direct with what your intentions are in meeting people.

It's just like any other way of seeking out a relationship. The "right" or "wrong" depends on things like your motives, whether or not you're following God's will, etc. Dating sites are the new way to meet people, it's not just this shameful, embarrassing thing that losers engage in anymore. Something like 20% of all new relationships begin online now.
