I am looking for current members of The Church of Christ, Scientist to answer some questions. I am doing a project for school on this Christian religion and part of it requires an interview. I just had surgery so I have been allowed to conduct my interview online in more of a questionaire format. They are pretty easy questions and while I can obtain the information just be surfing the internet I want real peoples responses. The following questions can be answered by just replying to this thread and you can answer however you feel fit. Great thanks in advance and if you have any questions please just leave me a message.
1. Why is this religion called "Christian Scientist"?
2. How does your faith differ from other Christian faith?
3. Who founded this religion? When? Why?
4. What is the most common misunderstanding involving your religion?
5. What is your current following? (How many people/Largest age groups/Dominant races?)
6. How do you view other Christian faiths?
7. How do you believe your faith is viewed?
8. What drew you to this religion?
9. Is there anything you dislike about it?
10. What efforts if any are made to bring in new members?
11. Are there are requirements to be a part of this religion?
12. How does your faith stand on issues such as abortion and homesexuality?
Thanks Again!
