seeing as you are in australia, it makes giving advice easier. have a look for Hip Hope 2005. that is a compilation disc so you can find out what artists you like.

as for rock/punk/simple plan stuff, i have no idea - but try and get hold of i think it is called "alternative X 04" green case with a big yellow x on the front. alternatively, look for anything on the tooth and nail label and flicker.

All I do with my life is Christian Music and I could glady point you some very good Christian bands who sound very similar to the artists you mention.

Christian bands that sound like Simple Plan/Good Charlotte are just as bad or worse than Simple Plan/Good Charlotte. Although, I imagine it's hard to be worse than those two bands.
