EXTOL and Crimson Moonlight.

Haha, I don't suppose anyone is into Christian Black/Death Metal? (yes, there is such a thing)

Christian death metal has no ideological conflicts, as far as I'm concerned. However, Christian black metal is like pop-punk.

But if its good enough (which most of it isnt; Elgibbor and Firethrone anybody?), I'll listen to it.

Antestor (ROTBD specifically; The Forsaken was dismal.)
Crimson Moonlight
Vaakevandring
Vardoger
Horrific Majesty
Evroklidon
Devotam
Drottnar

hehe they even SOUND like FiF - well... at least their name does

V glad you added the 'well, at least their name does' bit or I would have had to pounce on you! ^_^

FIF is ska, FF5 is...crunk rock? I'm still not sure what genre they fit into. I quite like FF5 but I LOVE FIF...I have every single CD and I am still upset that they never came to Australia....:(

and yes...I am still hoping for a FIF reunion, as unlikely as that is :sorry:

That one is good, but for their best, try Burial or Undecieved.

Undeceived takes me WAY back. Great album. Excellent choice in bands! Heard of Impending Doom? Death/Grind kind of stuff.

Careful mentioning Switchfoot. They refuse to classify themselves as a 'Christian band', instead preferring to be Christians, who are in a band. That said, a lot of their music seems to have been inspired by the gospel/ Christianity-related subjects.
