The only few bands that I listen to nowadays are Hillsong United and the Desperation band. There really good though, my fav from Hillsong is Break Free, but they got a TON of other good songs.

Christian death metal has no ideological conflicts, as far as I'm concerned. However, Christian black metal is like pop-punk.

But if its good enough (which most of it isnt; Elgibbor and Firethrone anybody?), I'll listen to it.

FIF is ska, FF5 is...crunk rock? I'm still not sure what genre they fit into. I quite like FF5 but I LOVE FIF...I have every single CD and I am still upset that they never came to Australia....

and yes...I am still hoping for a FIF reunion, as unlikely as that is

Undeceived takes me WAY back. Great album. Excellent choice in bands! Heard of Impending Doom? Death/Grind kind of stuff.

Careful mentioning Switchfoot. They refuse to classify themselves as a 'Christian band', instead preferring to be Christians, who are in a band. That said, a lot of their music seems to have been inspired by the gospel/ Christianity-related subjects.

I don't think of Casting Crowns as rock. I think they're more pop/country.
