Hello, I have always wondered is such psychich abilities wrong according to scriputure? telekinesis and other psychic things? I believe they are demonic, but how do you prove that because there is alot of scientific evidence claiming it is just a phenomena? Can anybody help me with this? {edit}

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well, I'm a Christian but I seem to have some kind of psychic thing going on. Most of my life I've had occasional dreams that come true. I have no idea why I predict the stuff I do, but there's no doubt it happens. (so far no lottery tickets, rats) I also sometimes make street lamps turn on or off. It's kind of a joke among those who know me.
I can't think it'd be satanic, since I've no deal with the devil and haven't asked for this fairly useless talent (so far) of mine. But nor do I know why it's there or what to do with it.
I do think CONSULTING people like this, in terms of predicting the future, can be sinful. Like, I don't mind horoscopes in the sense that I think when you're born somehow forms who you are -- I think there's an influence there that humans don't fully understand yet -- but I DON'T agree with using horoscopes to see if you're compatible with someone or to plan your life or as a tool in dealing with people, etc. You know? It's like, if you cross a red horse with a white horse you'll likely get a red horse. Nothing wrong with predicting that. But saying "red horses tend to be fast and impatient" and using that to influence the training? That's silly and likely to go wrong.
