Does anyone know some good Christian news websites out there that I can take a look at to see what king of stuff is going on in the Christian world?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good sites, however, sadly, none of them have the fact-checking standards of a secular publication 
I wish Christian journalism would someday hold itself to the same, if not a higher, standard of accuracy and veracity that the AP has to.
Until then, I sadly take most "Christian news" with a grain of salt, especially when it seems alarmist or not well-founded.

I agree with Susan. Many Christian news sites are too eager to take any piece of Christian news they can get, so they might be the victims of hoaxes.

Hehe I use to get the Christian Monitor and funny how they always have something on it saying its NOT a real Christian-religious mag. I dont know why they named it that then.
