Your broad genre definition may house koRn and Linkin Park under the same roof, but I can guarantee you that most koRn fans will oppose your viewpoint.

But anyway, regardless of your genre classifications, you must admit that koRn's style is darker than Linkin Park. They are not identical, musically/stylistically.

And I apologize for intruding on this exclusively "real metal" thread. I will be unsubscribing from it presently.

Oh come on, I wasnt trying to scare anyone away . I was just giving an opinion not a written down fact

Caedmon - the only band I've ever come across that sounded even remotely like Korn was These 5 Down. After hearing their first few notes it will be obvious who their main (if not ONLY) influence is. I don't even know if they're still together...

Zao, Living Sacrifice, Demon Hunter, and Extol are all good bands. What about bands like Training for Utopia, Norma Jean/Luti-kriss, Spitfire, Indwelling, As I Lay Dying, and Sinai Beach. Does anybody listen to them? If not, you should pick up some of their albums.

Sooooo many great bands......aahhh, those were the days and sadly, those days are looooong gone !
