I like to listen to Narnia, Vaakevandring, Vardoger, Crimson Moonlight and Rob Rock. I also like Extol and I hope the new CD "Blueprint" will sound more like "Undecieved". "Synergy" was too soft in my opinion. Has anyone listened to "Blueprint" already?

Finally, I came across a christian black metal project that does not sound as excessively bad as the rest of the christian quasi-BM bunch. This is actually the first true black metal project I found that that is christian. The name of the project is Lidian Forest, and the lyrics are about nature and winter, as usual, but about God as well. The band's origin lies obviously in later Burzum (the brilliant "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" and maybe the later casio raping), but somehow the songs sampled reminded me of the post-rock/ambient band Godspeed You Black Emperor's album "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven". The guy doesn't use guitars though, I don't know if that is a problem, it's still total black art.

I honestly don't know a whole lot about the different genres. Is there any Metallica style Christian metal out there?

If you like old Metallic style metal you might consider listening to some early Living Sacrifice.
