I'd like a good debate on where authority stems from. My position is that it all comes from threat of violence, but that's probably fodder for another forum.

O.K. but then what DO you believe? What DO you stand for??

If this is truly a Christian forum, then I would hope that Lee will spell out exactly what that means.

That won't exclude anyone, or allow us to mock, judge or be disrespectful of others; quite the contrary, as Christians, we are told to show love- but it will spell out what the underlying foundations of this WEB site are all about.

Then I guess we'll soon find out if that foundation is sitting on liquifiable sand or solid rock. If rock, then my guess is that even the sky won't be the limit as to how high this place could go.

There is a massive thirst for spiritual knowledge out there, and no Christian forum site yet has even come close to quenching that thirst.

Please realize that my question to you was a rhetorical one- after all, we all need to answer only to God.

But I am here because I believe that Christianity is the foundation of this WEB site, and so I would hope that the Nicene creed, or a similar statement of faith, ideally uniquely tailored to this site, will be forthcoming.
