  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A Christian employer I worked for in Phoenix is refusing to pay me my last commission check. It is overdue by a month. This delay is ruining my credit, jeopardizing my home (can't make the mortgage payment) and is ruining me. The amount they owe me is $14620.00 I probably made a mistake in pointing out to them that some of their standard business practices are fraudulent. Would God truly allow them to walk all over me and keep the money that is rightfully mine?

And these people call themselves Christians.

If they are being fraudulent in one place, no wonder if they are being fraudulent in another. If they are cheating people perhaps they should be reported? (If you are afraid of repercussions perhaps you could do something anonymous along those lines.)

I think legal counsel might be a good idea about getting your money back but I will pray for YHWH to guide you on whatever is the best path in HIS sight.

Answered prayer! Thank you - and Praise the Lord!

Today my lawyer and the lawyer from the company refusing my pay talked. I will be paid now - on October 1. Having the words "my lawyer" come out of my mouth, especially in regards to problems with another believer, is just SO wrong.

I do wonder if a lot of my having to go through this had something to do with God trying to let the owners of that company know they are coming under discipline. Having been through discipline myself, it is a miserable experience and one I do not care to ever go through again. It can be a years long process and just ceasing the activity that brought on the discipline doesn't let you off the hook. God will make sure the lesson sinks in.
