Anyone have any good Christian debt consolidators they had good experiences with? Ones that will work with you, rather the other way around (bank preferred)?
Thank you.
Time for me to learn something, if you don't mind. Why would you pay someone to consolidate your debt? Why not get a home-equity loan, use it to pay off all your other debts, and you've consolidated yourself without paying someone else to do it? (I never did a debt consolidation, so this is my chance to learn something.)

Well, one very immediate "why not" is when someone doesn't own a home in which to have equity.

dysert, I have no home. I want to try and see if someone can talk down the organizations that keep charging me fees because I can not afford $3000/month, and they refused to work with me even after five years of hell with them.

Tom, I will consider. Thanks.

action, true. I have nothing left since my 2011 layoff but debt.
