  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Depends on the kind of song you're after - one to cheer up, or one to cry to. Personally I'd prefer the latter type through a breakup... (and sorry, I tried to post links to YouTube but the forum didn't let me. All these songs can be found by typing their names and band name into YouTube, they're all the first result.)

2008 - Summertime's End (a good moving forward one)
If You Believe Me - Relient K
This Is The End (If You Want It) - Relient K (actually that whole album is a break up album, both happy and sad songs in there. Good stuff to be found.)
Everything You Ever Wanted - Hawk Nelson

However those are songs by Christian bands about breakups, not actual Christian breakup songs. I'm sure you can imagine it'd be hard to mention Jesus and a breakup in the same song (save for maybe the Hawk Nelson one).

Edit: I just realised that this thread is a year old. Didn't look at the year, just the date. My apologies...
