Christian bands that sound like...

They don't necesaribly mimmic the other band, just can't help have similarities with certain bands, especially those who have influenced you.

i know. but i'm mainly talking about this "christian bands mimicing secular bands" it just seems cheap to me.... i like people to use their talents better. especially if they are christian

falling up better than linkin park? LOL LOL LOL!!! maybe because of the words but as far as the talent i think they are very two different sounding bands. i personally would choose linkin park over falling up any day.

BTW anybody heard the one Linkin Park and Jay Z mixed? it was pretty good.

i heard a couple of the ones they did and thought they sounded cool but ive lost a great deal of respect for Linkin Park for doing them. this is because Linkin Park dont usually swear in the songs because they use their creativity to describe emotions better than swearing but because it was Jay Z songs being mixed a lot of it includes swears. also i think it would have been better if they took time to make a new album full of new material rather to do some MORE remixes.

if you look past the swearing and the lack of imagination in not wanting to make a new album then they are cool songs.

i also agree with you that its a bit of a joke to say that Falling Up are better than Linkin Park. Hybrid Threory and Meteora i can put on and enjoy every single track without getting bored. i cant do that with Falling Up. i can listen to indidivual songs and they sound very cool but if i listen to the album all the way through i get bored.

LP are good at writing lyrics that convey an emotion, which is a very very rare gift among that type of bands, they also make the music fit the mood. It ain't really my type of music any more, but I respect them for that, they have great lyrics.
