Christian and Missionary Alliance and Free Methodist

Hi! I have a question. What is the difference between the Christian and Missionary Alliance churches and Free Methodist churches in doctrine, practice etc.?!?!?

Don't know - I go to a C&MA church in New Jersey. Bible believing and preaching church and pastor. Contemporary worship service. The historical basis of the church was to send missionaries and they still emphasize this somewhat.

I don't know what a Free Methodist church is.

Where are you in Canada? There was a nice C&MA church in Richmond Hill, Ontario that I have attended! Some retired pro hockey players go there but I didn't recognize their names!

I attend a C&MA church in Maryland (although at this pont I am not exactly sure I belong there), and I would rather say that sending missionaries is a driving distinctive of the denomination. It was originally an alliance of churches, rather than a denomination, so the doctrine is pretty much generically evangelical/"Bible believing"...there are a lot of issues the denomination has no official stance on.

I know nothing about Free Methodism.

One of the famous Christian from C&MA is A.W. Tozer. You can get his writings by doing a "search" with a word "Tozer" or "A.W. Tozer".

I am not familiar with Free Methodist

Fundamentally the same, Jesus is Lord and Saviour, mission statement is different, each serving the Father and Glorifying Him as the Body Of Christ.
