Let us pray for the strength of heart and uplifted spirit for the people of Christ Lutheran Church and schools, Stoughton, WI which burned down WEDNESDAY August 17, and the damage to homes and businesses by the storms of August 18.

My mother-in-law called to ask for prayers. It is one of many ELCA congregations in Stoughton WI. Now both the congregation and individual families are hurting. Lutheran Disaster Relief or the South-Central Synod of WI may be helping.

I almost went to that school, when we lived in Madison. I pray for those kids who have lost their school and stuff, and the teachers and pastors and people who have lost their church.
