I just got his CD. It is awesome. This American Idol dude knows how to rock! Does anyone else here have his CD and what do you think about it.

Yeah!! I loved his cd!! Did you know he's a christian, & his old band "absent element" was a christian band? they made 1 EP CD & a live album, I luv them.

I have them if you wanna contact me, cuz they are currently unavalible

but do note that his old band is less mainstream, not so great quality, & more rock-ish

I would say actually that he knows how to ripp-off. He is ripping off Nickleback who ripped off every other nu-metal band. He might be a lot more poppy and diverse, but straight out, in my opinion, mainstream garbage. I really like his voive, though, and think its pretty cool he's a christian (Day of Fire is touring with him).

From the moment I heard his audition on American Idol last year, I knew that Chris Daughtry was going to have a bright and successful future. I was a bit shocked he didn't make it to the finals, but he certainly isn't hurting now.

I have his CD and I think it's awesome. He has such a powerful voice. Probably one of my favorite AI contestants, ever.

The guy can sing!

His CD and songs have been getting lots of attention in my country too!

The song "It's Not Over" peaked at #8, and the album "Daughtry" has peaked so far at #17. Currently, the song "Home" is getting good rotation on the radio.

I would say actually that he knows how to ripp-off. He is ripping off Nickleback...

Of course you're entitled to think this, but give the guy at least this much credit: He's a far better singer than the Nickelback guy will ever be.

don't take me wrong, I like the man... I kind of expected he would go this route. He's a good singer, but his stuff is just so over done and the new-metal/pop is a so overused genre (although, they're remain some good bands there). I don't like nickleback either, so... well...

Just 'cause it got distorted guitars don't mean it's rock. Someone worse than Nickelback...I didn't think it'd be possible.
